TJC Construction carried out the extensive refurbishment of the hospital building at Brent Lodge Wildlife Trust, delivering a significant upgrade to the charity’s existing aged property.
The works included removing the existing roof, increasing insulation within the loft space, electrical testing, strengthening the joists to improve storage capacity, and installing a new slate roof covering. New solar photovoltaic panels were also fitted, helping provide a carbon offset, improve electrical efficiency, and reduce ongoing energy costs for the charity.
Externally, the project included improved disabled access through the installation of new ramps and access doors. The external cladding was also upgraded with added insulation and a rendered panel finish below.
This project formed part of TJC Construction’s ongoing relationship with Brent Lodge Wildlife Trust and is one of three projects completed for the charity.
